Make Up By One Direction Up All Night Collection: Review and Swatches

Disclaimer: Product featured was provided for review.
Alright, 1D fans, let out your gasps and squeals, be excited because for Fall 2014, One Direction is releasing its own line of makeup: Make Up By One Direction. Today I have one of the three makeup kits that will be available starting August. To see some swatches and review of the "Up All Night Collection", click.......
What's included:
-"4+1" Eye Shadow Palette
-"Little Black Dress" Volumizing Mascara
-"Na Na Na" Nail Polish
-"Taken" Lip Gloss
-"I Should Have Kissed You" Lipstick
-"Stand Up" Eyeshadow/body Crayon
-Bonus five-piece stencil set
Packaging:
All the makeup pieces are housed in a limited edition metal tin. The tin has a plastic slip with all the band members printed on it but the tin itself has a very plain greyish black brick pattern. The tin flips open like a book to reveal the products and some tips for creating the "Up All Night" look.

Formulation & Pigmentation:
"4+1" Eye Shadow Palette:
With four powder shadows and one cream/glitter shadow, the palette has an assortment of blues and neutrals. The formulation of the powder shadows are decent but the glitter cream is super chunky and uneven, definitely not an easy product to work with.

"Little Black Dress" Volumizing Mascara:
This is a very plain mascara with a simple spooly applicator. Aside from making the lashes darker, the mascara didn't provide a whole lot of volume or length.

"Stand Up" Eyeshadow/body Crayon:
This is a dark navy eyeshadow pencil with a matte finish. The pigmentation is surprisingly good and the product blends nicely although it does crease a bit.

"Taken" Lip Gloss:
This one is a super pigmented Barbie Pink lip gloss that's packed to the brim with pink and silver glitters. I am very impressed with the color but the gloss has a very gritty texture due to all the glitter.

"I Should Have Kissed You" Lipstick:
This one is a cool tone matte neon pink lipstick. The formulation is a bit dry but the color is very buildable.

"Na Na Na" Nail Polish:
This is a sheer aqua frost/metallic polish. The formulation is not difficult to work with but it did require three coats to achieve a semi-opaque finish.
Overall:
Although the quality of some of these products are not all there, the idea of the makeup line will appeal to many One Direction fans. The tin itself also makes a great collectible and because they are limited edition, you better grab them fast!

Availability:
The line will available starting August at Macy's, Stage Stores, Dillards, Lord and Taylor, and Beauty Brands across US. International release date TBD.
