Leave it to Benefit to always come up with the cutest makeup products. The Majorette Cream-to-Powder Boost Blush ($36 CAD) is a new addition to the brand and it is a gorgeous peachy cream blush that can be worn alone to give the cheeks a playful flush or worn underneath your favorite box-o-powder blush for a more intensified glow. Packaging:
The Majorette Cream-to-Powder Booster Blush comes in a cardboard/plastic compact that's shaped very much like a macaron. Where the top and bottom lip separates there is a layer or scallop-edged peach plastic that reminds me of the filling of a macaron. The compact has a magnet closure and there is a tiny mirror on the underside of the lid.
The cream blush has slight dome shape with a design molded onto it. Unfortunately the design rubs flat right away but I really appreciate the dome shape. Cream products that have been compressed into a flat pan always gets stuck under my long nails when I try to apply them with my fingertips so this is a big improvement.

Formulation:
The product has an unbelievably creamy texture; upon application, it almost melts on my fingertips. Once blended on the cheeks though, the product turns to a smooth and silky powder. The pigmentation is quite impressive. I thought because it was called a booster blush, it would probably be very sheer but it has enough oomph on its own to be worn alone.
The blush has a super refreshing peach and pomegranate scent (and a matte peach color to match), I don't know about you but I like it when my blush is scented!
The longevity of the product I would say is just ok. I applied the blush on my cheeks with a stippling brush and it worn off within three hours. With that said though, I have notoriously oily skin and cream blushes and I have never really gotten along that well.

Overall:
I am super in love with the packaging (who wouldn't be?) and the lovely peach scent of the blush. The application of the product is superb and so is its pigmentation. The only thing I'd like to see improved is the wear but those with normal to dry skin shouldn't have any wear issues like I did.

Availability:
