The Cuirs Fétiche Couture Palette comes in a luxurious and shiny gold rectangular case. The front has a piece of black leather covering embossed with the YSL logo in gold.
The palette includes a sponge tip applicator for on-the-go application.
There are five shades in this palette, three shimmery and two matte.
Champagne shimmer: This is a gorgeous pale gold perfect for inner corner highlighting. The formulation is superb and packed with shimmers.
Metallic copper: A incredibly opaque copper, this one is a total stunner. The formulation is so rich it almost feels like a cream shadow.
Chocolate brown with gold shimmers: This is a deep warm brown with flecks of micro-shimmer. Perfect formulation, smooth and buttery.
Matte brownish black: An unique brownish black matte with a slightly satin-y finish, this is like no matte shadow I've tried because the texture was crazy smooth and pigmented it almost felt like a cream shadow. Good job YSL!
Inky greyish blue: Like the last shade, this is also a matte shadow with a slightly satin-y finish. However, the pigmentation isn't as intense and needed several swipes for opacity.
Overall:
What a luxurious palette! The packaging is gorgeous and the color selection is so perfect for fall and winter. In terms of formulation, all except for the blue is pigmented, creamy, and easy to blend.
