Balsam & Vine Boho Marks Metallic Temporary Tattoo: Review
One of the best things about social media is how it allows us to quickly and easily discover cool trends try and new things to covet. My friend showed me some pictures of these awesome metallic temporary tattoos from a Vancouver-based company called Balsam and Vine on Instagram and I was instantly hooked!
We all know what temporary tattoos are, I'm sure lots of us were obsessed with them when we were kids. Well, now there is a new trend of ultra shiny and reflective metallic temporary tattoos! Boho Marks ($10 per sheet), as they are called, are basically metallic temporary tattoos that apply the same way as ordinary temporary tattoos. To see some pictures, click.......
To apply the Boho Marks, simply cut around the temporary tattoo you want to apply, peel off the plastic covering and place (tattoo side down) on the desired body location. Dampen the tattoo with water, press down for 30 seconds and remove paper backing.
The packaging says the boho marks last 4-6 days but from my experience the tattoos started fading significant after day one. They apply very shiny but the shine wears off gradually as little tiny pieces fall off over the days.

Here are some pictures of me wearing the Boho Marks on my fingers and wrist. I love how they really accent your manicure. The tattoos are so shiny and chic, it's kind of hard to look away!

Overall:
Such an innovative product! I love the chic patterns available and how well metallic effect stands out against the skin. Boho Marks don't last as long as promised but they are still great for special occasions or just a fun day.
