Urban Decay Vice3 Eyeshadow Palette: Review and Swatches
Hey guys, happy Monday, I hope you all had a lovely weekend! Today I am reviewing the Vice 3 Eyeshadow Palette ($70 CAD). The third edition of the hot-selling holiday palette series, this new Urban Decay palette features 20 brand new velvety and rich shadows. To see some swatches and review of each shade, click.......

Packaging:
The Vice 3 palette is different from the previous two vice palettes (check out my review of Vice 2 here) in many ways. This new palette has a much sleeker design; this one is noticeably thinner than the previous palettes. Additional, both Vice 1 and Vice 2 had "UD" crystal letters embedded in the front while this one has the word "vice" embedded in instead.
The front of the palette is coated in a layer of reflective silver paint. The design is very cool and eye-catching but the paint scratches off quite easily, revealing the plain translucent plastic underneath. The palette is equipment with a large mirror and a magnetic closure, as compared to the click closure from previous years'.

Included this year with the palette is a double ended shadow brush with a shader brush on one end and a blending brush on the other. The palette also comes with a cloth makeup bag that can either be used to store the palette or hold other makeup items.

Formulation & Pigmentation:
The color selection of this palette is quite beautiful. There are a several gorgeous intense metallics that are quite eye-catching. There are also four very special mattes with very subtle sparkles; the formulation for all of them are buttery soft and creamy. There is no real duds in the bunch so that's definitely a plus.

Overall:
What an amazing palette! I'd say 95% of the 20 shades are simply spectacular- perfectly buttery and pigmented. I also really love the new packaging; however, I do wish the front reflective paint wasn't so easy to scratch off, mine already has a piece chipped off in the front.

Availability:
Urban Decay is available online and in stores at Sephora.
