Deborah Lippmann Spring 2015 Whisper Collection: Review and Swatches
Inspired by dreamy spring hues, Deborah Lippmann's Spring 2015 Whisper Collection ($20 CAD) features four shades of sheer cremes. Today I have a couple colors from the collection to share with you, to see some swatches, click......
Chantilly Lace:
First up is a soft pale pink creme. I don't mind sheers but the formulation of these are not only sheer but uneven. I had to use four coats and still the finish is not perfect. And of course, with four coats the driving time is significantly extended.

Chantilly Lace, four coats with no top coat.

Dreamers Do:
This is a pretty smoky mushroom grey. Again, the formulation is super sheer and runny. My recommendation is to simply apply one coat. The more coats I apply the more unevenness I run into. I used a total of four very thick coats.

Dreamers Do, four coats with no top coat.
Overall:
I love the smoky soft colors featured in the collection but unfortunately the sheer formulation was too tricky as it needs four coats for opacity.
