Rimmel Provocalips 16Hr Kiss Proof Lip Color: Review and Swatches
After the immense success of the ApocalipsRimmel London has released a line of longer-wearing yet equally pigmented kiss-proof lip colors called the Rimmel Provocalips ($8.99 CAD). Today I have three shades from the line to share with you, to view some swatches, click.......
Rimmel Provocalips 16Hr Kiss Proof Lip Color: Review and Swatches
Step One: Intense Color
Packaging:
The Provocalips come in dual-ended lip gloss tubes. One end contains the lip color and the other comes with the liquid balm. Both end applies with a doe-foot applicator. With the deeper shades, I used a lip brush to apply the lip color, which provided a much more precise application.

Step Two: Lock & Shine
Formulation:
Step One: The step one side of the Provocalips is an opaque lip color. It has a creamy liquid lipstick consistency that applies smoothly but sets to a matte, mostly transfer-proof finish. The color needs to be topped with a gloss or balm of some sort or else it will transfer between the upper and lower lip as the finish is a tad sticky.
Step Two: This, interestingly, is not a gloss. The "lock and shine" step is a creamy, milky, translucent liquid balm with with a natural sheen. It feels very moisturizing on the lips and it makes the lip color truly transfer-proof.

The Provocalips are really long-wearing and it easily lasts through a meal. However, I do notice that small bits of the color chips off a bit, especially on the inner edge of my lips.

500 Kiss Me You Fool: Bright true red with  beautiful pigmentation.
550 Play with Fire: This is a deep true red, very good for when you want to rock red lips but is intimated with the brighter reds.
730 Make Your Move: A surprisingly wearable pink nude with mauve undertones. The shade is very pretty, very "my lips but better".

Overall:
These are really great liquid lipsticks with a great price. Although the lip color may become a bit dry throughout the day, you can simply reapply the liquid balm to add more moisture. The wear is great as the color can easily last through a meal!
