Eye Reviver Illuminating Neutrals Eye Palette ($63 CAD) is a six shade neutral eyeshadow palette containing everything (including a liner) you need to create an everyday wide-eyed makeup look. To see some swatches of the palette, click.......
The Eye Reviver palette comes in a very compact clear and silver case. All the shadows are pressed with the Dior logo and there is a slot in the case for the included duo ended sponge/bristle brush and liner brush. The quality of the brushes are decent and I would use the liner brush to apply a simple liner (probably not a winged liner though).
There are a total of five shadows: a satin-y matte ivory, a subtly shimmery nude, a taupe shimmer, and a dark brown shimmer with golden sparkles. The ivory base actually is designed as a primer to help the other colors adhere better. Although it does help, it's not really different from any other matte shadows I've tried. So in terms of texture and pigmentation, the base is no different from the other four shadows.
The palette also includes a simple black gel liner. In terms of formulation, all of the shadows are nicely pigmented and easy to blend. The feeling of the shadows aren't as buttery smooth as other shadows I've tried but in terms of performance and pigmentation, they are great. The black liner has a nice and smooth pigmentation but I noticed that it's not very waterproof and the fact that it's stored right next to the shadows makes me worry about it catching fallouts and becoming dry overtime.
I like this palette! I love the fact that it's slim and compact yet it includes more than enough colors to create a simple neutral eye. The shadows are all pretty pigmented and they blend seamlessly together. The only thing I don't love is the included liner. I am just not a fan of putting cream and powder products in the same palette although it does make application on the go a lot easier.
The Eye Reviver Palette is available at Dior counters and online at The Bay.
