Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire Eau Fraiche: Review and Swatches
For Spring 2015, Guerlain is adding a new addition to its La Petite Robe Noire collection called the La Petite Robe Noire Ma Robe Petales Eau Fraiche ($82 for 50mL or $110 for 100mL). Inspired by the enchanted scents of parisian gardens, the new fragrance is fresh and springy, "topstitched with a delicious pistachio note". To read more about this scent, click.......
The Bottle:
The Ma Robe Petales La Petite Robe Noire comes in a gorgeous glass bottle with swirly details on both the bottle and the cap. On the front of the bottle, there is a print of a black pixie dress. The cap has a delicate lacy ribbon tied around the neck and the fragrance itself is tinted a light shade of green.
The Scent:
Top Note: Mandarin, Bergamot, Lemon, Green Notes
Middle Notes: Pistachio Note, Rose, Apricot, Solar Notes, Freesia
Base Note: White Musk, Patchouli

This is a very refreshing spring and summer scent. Upon first whiff, I detect a lovely blend of citric notes. After the bergamot and the lemon scent settles the rose and freesia become more lively. Unfortunately, I really can't detect the pistachio notes. Actually, I'm not even sure what pistachios would smell like in a perfume, haha. Overall, although not very unique, this is a youthful and refreshing addition to the Guerlain Petite Robe Noire collection that's worth checking out.

Availability:
Guerlain is available in stores and online at Sephora, Holt Renfrew, and The Bay.
