Jealous Body Scrub Coconut + Coffee: Review

Disclaimer: Product featured was provided for review.
I love body scrubs so I jumped right to it when I was offered to try out one from the new Vancouver-based Jealous Body Scrub company. Made with a few simple ingredients, including some amazing smelling ground coffee and moisturizing coconut oil, the Coffee and Coconut Scrub ($17.95 for 200g) has been a staple in my shower. The Jealous Body Scrub comes in a resealable paper bag with plastic lining. Getting the product out when you are in the shower is not super convenient but I can't really think of a better way to dispense the product as it is more of a solid mixture as opposed to a creamy scrub.

Made with a ground coffee, coconut oil, brown sugar, sea salt and vitamin E, the body scrub promises to stimulate circulation and reduce the appearance of cellulite, eczema, stretch marks and various skin conditions. What makes this scrub the most special is its amazing invigorating coffee smell. I feel so refreshed whenever I use this in the shower. The salt, sugar, and ground coffee provide amazing exfoliation and the coconut oil leaves behind a light, non-greasy hydration.
I use this all over the body and sometimes on my face but the particles do feel a little scratchy on the face unless I use very gentle motion. Overall, this may just be my favorite scrub to date, and I love that the price is fairly reasonable as the 200g bag can last me at least a month!

Jealous Body Scrub is available online. The brand will be launching more exciting products soon so definitely stay tuned!
