Essie Fall 2015 Collection: Review and Swatches

Disclaimer: The products featured were provided for review.
Hi everyone, I hope you are all doing well! Today I want to share with you some swatches of the stunning Fall 2015 Collection from Essie. Created by Rebecca Minkoff, Essie's new global color ambassador, the collection is inspired by rock 'n' roll music. To check out all the shades, click.......

Color Binge:
This is a super bright tomato red cream. The pigmentation is very good but the formulation is disappointingly runny. The color kept on pooling in my cuticles which was a bit frustrating. I used two coats for the swatches below.
Two coats with no top coat.
With the Band:
A deep brick red, With the Band is rich and pigmented. If you love a good spicy red for fall, this is absolutely perfect. I used two coats for the swatches below.
Two coats with no top coat.
In the Lobby:
This is a very deep plum. The color is actually a bit sheer but with two coats I get an even coverage. Similar to Color Binge, this shade is also a bit runny.
Two coats with no top coat.
Frock 'n' Roll:
A dark gray scattered with small flecks of silver sparkle, Frock 'n' Roll is like a starry night sky in the bottle! The formulation is smooth and rich, two coats to perfection!
Two coats with no top coat.
Leggy Legend:
Oh where do I even start with this one..... A gorgeous bronze metallic with subtle red and golden sparkles, Leggy Legend is so beautiful. The formulation is rich and pigmented, it's almost a one-coater but I used two just in case.
Two coats with no top coat.
Bell-bottom Blues:
A deep sea blue with bright blue shimmers, this shade is so opaque and buttery. I could have gotten away with just one coat but I used two for the swatches below.
Two coats with no top coat.
What a gorgeous collection! A couple of the reds aren't the best in terms of formulation but the shimmers and the metallics are absolutely amazing! Leggy Legend is my personal favorite; it is such a unique bronze metallic, just stunning!

The Fall 2015 Collection from Essie is available starting August 25th.
