Burberry Kisses Gloss Wet Shine Nourishing Lip Gloss in "No.109 Military Red" & "No.101 Oxblood": Review and Swatches

For Fall 2015, Burberry has extended its beloved Burberry Kisses Collection with the release of some beautiful Kisses Gloss Wet Shine Nourishing Lip Glosses ($31 CAD each), available in a wide range or shades that promise an "intense mirror-like shine and color". So how do these glosses fare? Read on to find out........

Packaging:
The Burberry Kisses Gloss comes in a very sleek clear rectangular tube. The cap is gunmetal grey with etchings of the classic Burberry tartan print. The applicator is a fairly standard doe-foot.

Formulation:
These glosses have a moisturising formulation that's very lightweight and non-sticky. Unfortunately, the pigmentation is a lot sheerer than they appear in the tube. "Military Red" looks like a deep bright red in the tube but on the lips it's a sheer pinkish red. "Oxblood" appears as a deep blood plum but when swatched it's a super sheer mauve-pink.
Overall these are great glosses but I was really expecting something that packed a punch and these were simply too sheer for my liking.
