Disclaimer: The products featured were provided for review.
For Holiday 2015, CND has a beautiful and wintery polish collection inspired by the beautiful aurora borealis. Featuring four dazzling shades, the Aurora Collection ($11.95 CAD) is available as of now. To see some swatches and my review of each shade, click.......
CND Vinylux Aurora Collection
Nordic Lights:
This is a glitter jelly polish with a translucent plum base scattered with holographic micro-glitters and color-shifting shards glitters. The polish looks absolutely stunning in the bottle but when swatched on the nails the glitters are disappointingly sparse. I mean, it's still a very pretty color but I dearly wished that it was a bit more glittery. The formulation is fairly easy to work with, I used two coats for the swatches below.
Nordic Lights, two coats with no top coat.
Winter Glow:
This is a pale pink cream with a subtle tinge of gray. The formulation is super runny and sheer so I experienced a lot of pooling and streaking. I used three coats for the swatches below.
Winter Glow, three coats with no top coat.
Glacial Mist:
A beautiful icy blue packed with silver glitters, Glacial Mist is a full-coverage glitter polish that's a no-fuss two-coater. I love how "wintery wonderland" this one feels, hands down my favorite from the collection.
Glacial Mist, two coats with no top coat.
Tundra:
This is a pearly pale lavender pink with a frosty finish. The formulation is surprisingly smooth and streak-free, I used two coats for the swatches below.
