OPI Hello Kitty Collection: Review and Swatches

Disclaimer: The products featured were provided for review.
Ever since its birth in 1974, Hello Kitty has won over more than millions of hearts all over the world so it was only a matter of time until OPI released a full collection in collaboration with Sanrio. With 12 girly and fun colors, the OPI Hello Kitty Collection ($10 USD or $12.50 CAD each) is in stores now! To see my swatches and my thoughts on the formulation, click........

5 Apples Tall:
A bright cherry red, this is a really pigmented and smooth color. OPI is great at making reds and corals so this is a definite star!
5 Apples Tall, two coats with no top coat.
Spoken from the Heart:
This is a bright summer pink. Again, the color is very saturated and the formulation is smooth and even.
Spoken from the Heart, two coats with no top coat.
Super Cute in Pink:
A semi-translucent purple-pink, Super Cute in Pink has a slight jelly finish but even though it's not fully opaque, it has a really nice and even formulation.

Look at My Bow:
This is a soft baby pink. The formulation is slightly sheer and uneven; I used three coats for the swatches below.

Small + Cute = ♥:
A very pale baby pink, this shade is also not very easy to work with. Due to the sheer and patchy formulation, I had to use three coats for the swatches below.

Let's Be Friends!:
A cream white with just a hint of pink, Let's Be Friends was incredibly sheer and patchy. Even with three coats, I was unable to get an opaque and smooth coverage.
Let's Be Friends!, three coats with no top coat.
Starry-Eyed for Dear Daniel:
This is a really beautiful full-coverage glitter filled with iridescent glitters and shimmers of blue, gold, pink, and silver. The formulation is also really lovely, I only needed two coats for the swatches below.

Charmmy & Sugar:
Another full-coverage glitter, Charmmy & Sugar is packed with shiny, multi-colored hex glitters set in an iridescent shimmery base. The formulation is pretty even; I used two coats for a mostly opaque coverage.

Kitty White:
This is a beautiful iridescent white shimmer. The formulation is slightly sheer but two coats give a nice and even finish.

Never Have Too Mani Friends!:
A simple black cream, Never Have Too Mani Friends! Is a spectacular two-coat perfection black. The formulation is smooth and quick-drying.

My Pal Joey:
This is a beautiful medium sky blue. The formulation is rich, buttery, and pigmented.
My Pal Joey, two coats with no top coat.
My Twin Mimmy:
A saturated medium yellow, My Twin Mimmy is slightly sheer but for a yellow, it was not too hard to work with. With three coats, I was able to get a nice and even finish.
