Packaging:
The Smashbox L.A. Lights Blush & Highlight Palette comes in a super thin and sleek black plastic compact. Inside the palette are two blushes and one highlighter, each at 2.8g. The overall design is very simple but it's great for traveling!

Formulation:
Included in the "Pacific Coast Pink" palette are two blushes: "Rich Pink" and "True Pink". "Rich Pink" looks like a medium-dark pink in the pan but when swatched it's rather sheer. The formulation is a bit harder than expected but the color is definitely buildable. It's a good shade for someone with a heavy-hand because it's not easy to over-apply.
"True Pink", on the other hand, is a super buttery and rich warm pink. The color looks soft in the pan but it swatches like a dream! Neither blush contains any shimmers, which I really appreciate as I find matte blushes much more flattering.

The included highlighter, "Highlight Pink", is a beautiful soft warm pink shimmer. The formulation is super pigmented and rich. I love the color as well; it's not too white or pale, providing a more natural glow as opposed to an intense highlight. Overall, this is such a great cheek palette, "Rich Pink" isn't as buttery and pigmented as the other two shades but the overall value and quality are fantastic!
