Hi everyone, sorry for being missing in action for the past few days. The last couple of weeks have been crazy busy for me, what with moving, finals, and getting sick all at the same time. I feel super behind on blogging but now that school is over, I am slowly getting back to the routine. Anyhow, today I have an amazingly beautiful palette from Tarte to share with you. Inspired by dreamy neutrals, the Rainforest of the Sea Palette ($41 CAD) features some superb formulation. To see some swatches of the colors, click.......

Packaging:
This eyeshadow palette comes in a circular golden compact. The front is printed with a colorful purple and blue feather design. It's very pretty but I don't see how it fits the theme of the "Rainforest of the Sea" or the colors of the shadow. The inside includes a large mirror and the eyeshadows are 1.5 grams each, which is quite nice and generous.

Formulation:
It's been years since I've tried Tarte eyeshadows and the quality of this Rainforest of the Sea palette is beyond amazing, whatever Tarte's been doing, they are doing it right! Each and every shade (even the satin mattes) from this palette is crazy buttery and pigmented, just a light swipe provides the most beautiful color.
The palette has a very neutral and wearable brown color scheme and you get a mix of mattes, shimmers, and satin metallics. Overall, if you still have room in your collection for an amazing nude palette, you have to check this out! The quality and formulation are just superb and the value is great as well.
