KBShimmer Fall 2016 Collection: Review and Swatches

Disclaimer: The products featured were provided for review.
It's been a while since I've posted swatches of indie polish brands so I'm very excited to share with you a few shades from the KBShimmer Fall 2016 Collection. Straying away from the traditional earthy tones and deeper hues, the collection dabbles in all shades of the rainbow. The polishes are currently available at Harlow & Co. and they retail for $12.50 CAD each. To read on, click.......

Grin and Gerbera It:
A beautiful creamy rosy pink, Grin and Gerbera It is amazingly pigmented. The polish was almost completely opaque in one coat but I used two for the swatches below. The formulation is slightly thicker than your average cream so make sure to mix it well before use.
Grin and Gerbera It, two coats with no top coat.
The Best Mum Ever:
A unique periwinkle blue cream, The Best Mum Ever is scattered with orange/pink iridescent flakies. The formulation is nicely pigmented, I used two coats for the swatches below.

Sweet Devotion:
This is an adorable creamy white polish packed with multi-colored glitters of various shapes and sizes. I've always loved fun glitter jelly sandwiches but their formulation tends to be quite problematic. However, Sweet Devotion has an even dispersion of glitters and the polish is reasonably fast-drying. I used three coats for the swatches below.
Sweet Devotion, three coats with no top coat.
Poppy Kisses:
A rich burnt orange filled with soft holo shimmers, Poppy Kisses is ridiculously pigmented and buttery. The application is a dream and the subtle holographic effect is beautiful as well.
Poppy Kisses, two coats with no top coat.
Flake Me Home Tonight:
A minty green polish consisting of chunky silver, green, and holographic glitters, Flake Me Home Tonight is the very definition of a mermaid polish. The glitters are full-coverage so I only needed two coats for the swatches below!

Turning Pointe:
Wowza! Talk about holographic! Turning Point is a soft peach jelly packed to the brim with holographic glitters. The polish is absolutely dazzling, it will literally sear your eyes under the sun with its holographic beauty! Formulation-wise, Turning point is very even and easy to apply; I used two coats for the swatches below.
