Pixi Palette Rosette & Fairy Dust Favorites: Review and Swatches
Looking for some affordable makeup gift sets for the holidays? Pixi has you covered with its natural and wearable value sets. Today I have swatches and reviews of the Palette Rosette ($28 USD) and the Fairy Dust Favourites ($12 USD) to share with you. To read on, click......

Pixi Fairy Dust Favourites "Metallic Warmth" ($12 USD):
A set of loose eyeshadow powders stacked and twisted on top of each other, the Fairy Dust Loose Pigments are a little messy and sheer so they are best used wet. Although this set is called "Metallic Warmth", the shades included all have more of a satin-shimmer finish. I have swatches below of the powders applied dry.

Sheer Peach Glow: Very sheer peach champagne shimmer.
True Bronze: Golden bronze shimmer.
Sunkissed Amber: Medium bronze shimmer with a nicely pigmented formulation.
Ruby Sheen: Soft red shimmer that's semi-sheer but somewhat buildable.
Black Pearl: Gray shimmer that's also semi-sheer but buildable.

Pixi Palette Rosette in "Rosy Radiance" ($28 USD):
A complete face palette that includes six shades of cheek colors, five eyeshadows, and three brow powders, the Palette Rosette comes in a simple and large compact. The design is pretty thin and travel-friendly and you do get one dual-ended sponge applicator. With that said, the compact looks a bit flimsy and cheap.
Below I have a breakdown of all the shades in the palette. All except for the brow powders are super creamy and pigmented. The brow powders are on the sheerer side but I think that may be purposefully done for more natural look and the pigmentation is buildable if you so desire.

All-Over Glow: Soft pink highlighter that provides a very fine and beautiful sheen. The formulation is lovely and creamy.
Cheek Blush: Buttery rich shimmery blush in a natural peach-rose.
Enhancing Contour: This is a light brown with a satin-shimmer finish. I personally wouldn't use it to contour but it does make for a nice shimmery bronzer.
Highlight I: A pearly white shimmer, this one is very bright but the formulation is a little patchy as compared to the other shades.
Highlight II: Soft pale yellow shimmer with a nice and soft formulation.
Highlight III: Light peachy champagne shimmer that's' silky and creamy.

Day Lid: This is a beautiful beige champagne shimmer with a very rich and creamy formulation. The pigmentation is great as well!
Eye Contours I: Beautiful light taupe shimmer with a buttery and pigmented formulation.
Eye Contours II: This is a medium brown shimmer. Like the previous shades, the formulation is rich and opaque.
Night Lid: One of my favorite shade out of this palette, this is a decadent burgundy shimmer that's rich and intense.

Brow Hues I: A light brown for those with blonde brow hairs, this shade has just the slightest bit of shimmer, which I find to be a tad weird but the formulation is sheer enough that the shimmers aren't really noticeable.
Brow Hues II: This is a deep taupe brow color. The formulation is also a tad sheer but it's buildable and the color is neutral enough that it can be used as an eyeshadow.
Eye Contours III: Warm dark brown matte shadow with a decently pigmented formulation.
Brow Hues III: A deep taupe brown, this is a brow powder for those with dark brunette or black hair. The formulation is not too chalky; it's semi-sheer but buildable.
