Lipstick Queen Jean Queen Lipstick: Review and Swatches
According to Lipstick Queen, there is such a thing as the perfect lipstick color to wear with denim. Formulated with shea, vitamin E, and aloe, this sheer natural rose Jean Queen Lipstick ($32 CAD) is created with denim-wearers in mind. To see some swatches and read my review, click.......

Packaging:
The Jean Queen Lipstick comes in the signature monochromatic packaging of Lipstick Queen. The entire lipstick case has a metallic blue finish while the cardboard box it comes in has a very cute denim design with stitched letterings.

Formulation:
Touted as the "ultimate shade to wear with denim as it perfectly offsets the blue in the fabric", Jean Queen is a sheer neutral rose with a very slick and moisturizing formulation. The wear is disappointingly short as the color almost wears away immediately after any eating, drinking, or kissing but the color is very flattering indeed. It gives just the right amount of color that livens your natural lip color while providing an alluring sheen that plumps and moisturizes. Overall, this lipstick is pretty on par with the previous Lipstick Queen lipsticks I've reviewed (i.e., sheer, hydrating, but wears away easily). If you are looking for a quick and easy-to-apply semi-sheer tinted balm, definitely check this out. However, if you value intense pigmentating and a lasting wear, then this is not the color for you.
