Like the rest of the beauty world, I fell head-over-heels when Too Faced first released the Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette (fully reviewed here). So imagine my utter glee when I heard about the launch of a full Sweet Peach Collection! Well today I am sharing with you my swatches and review of the Sweet Peach Creamy Peach Oil Lip Gloss ($24 CAD) range. To read on, click.......
Packaging:
The Sweet Peach Creamy Peach Oil Lip Gloss is housed in a simple clear plastic lip gloss tube. The cap is colored to matched the lip gloss shade and it is adorned with the cutest little peach sticker at the top. The cap is also equipped with a slender and elongated doe-foot that does a nice job at smoothly applying the gloss.
Formulation:
Infused with coconut oil, peach extracts, and vitamin E, the Too Faced Sweet Peach lip glosses have a very light and creamy texture that's not at all sticky or heavy. The formulation feels hydrating and it's scented very heavily with a delicious peach flavor. The pigmentation level for the eight shade varies a bit but all of them have a milky finish as opposed to a translucent finish. See below for a breakdown of all the shades.
Tickle-Me-Peach: This is a juicy watermelon red; it is one of the most pigmented shades out of the bunch.
Poppin' Peach: A bright creamy orange, Poppin' Peach is semi-sheer but even.
Papa Don't Peach: Another pigmented shade, Papa Don't Peach is a soft nude brown that's very natural and flattering.
Peach-sicle: This is a soft milky peach. The pigmentation is on the sheer side so if you have darker lips, the color may accentuate any wrinkles and fine lines.
Peach, Please!: This is a soft baby pink. The pigmentation is slightly sheer.
Peach Tease: One of my personal favorites, Peach Tease is a pretty peachy pink. The coverage of this one is very nice despite the semi-sheer pigmentation.
Pure Peach: A warm creamy peach, Pure Peach is another lovely color with a pretty decent coverage.
Peach Fuzz: The lightest shade of the bunch, this is a soft peach-beige. The formulation is sheer so you might want to steer clear unless you have very pale lips.
