NARS Liquid Blush in "Torrid" & "Luster": Review and Swatches
NARS is well known for its blush range and for summer 2017, the brand is launching a collection of lightweight Liquid Blush ($38 CAD) made with monoi and tamanu oil. Currently available in four shades (with one being the iconic "Orgasm"), the blushes promise a natural and lightweight wear. Packaging:
The NARS Liquid Blush is housed in a 15ml frosted glass bottle with a matte black cap. The bottle is equipped with a convenient pump dispenser but I found that the dispenser loosens very easily. I have to make sure to tighten the dispenser each time I use the blush or it will somehow unscrew itself and become loose.

Formulation:
With a thin and liquid formulation, the NARS Liquid Blush appears super pigmented when first dispensed but it blends out very naturally and seamlessly. The blush sets to a completely weightless and powder-dry finish; however, the pigments are still prone to smudging and fading.
"Torrid" is a natural coral peach with a subtle, barely noticeable golden shimmer and "Luster" is nude apricot with no visible shimmers. As mentioned, the formulation is pretty sheer but buildable. Both shades are light and earthy, providing a subtle flush that's healthy and natural. I personally am a bit disappointed with the wear. Because I have fairly oily skin, especially in the summer time, I experienced quite a bit of fading with both shades. As compared to my everyday powder blushes, the formulation seems to fade a bit faster.
