Benefit Cosmetics Boi-ing Airbrush Concealer: Review and Swatches
Recently, Benefit Cosmetics has relaunched its entire concealer collection with a brand new look. In addition to the super cute packaging, a new soft-focus concealer called the Boi-ing Airbrush Concealer ($27 CAD) is being introduced. Available in three shades, this concealer promises a lightweight and seamless coverage. To read my review and see a before and after, click.....

Packaging:
The Boi-ing Airbrush Concealer comes in an adorable 5g jar designed to look like the eraser stub on the end of a pencil. I like applying my concealer with my fingertip so the jar packaging is not the most convenient. Dipping my finger directly into the cream always feels a bit unsanitary but that's just my personal pet peeve.

Formulation:
Promising a sheer to medium coverage with a soft-focus effect, the Boi-ing Airbrush Concealer has thin but creamy texture. The coverage is on the sheerer side but the product blends nicely. I tried it both under the eyes and on blemish spots and found that it works better under the eyes. There is some creasing along my lower lash line but that is not too unusual. Aside from that, the concealer did a great job at covering my dark eyeshadow and redness, providing a subtle brightening effect that really wakes up the eyes.

For blemishes and acne scars, the Boi-ing Airbrush Concealer is a tad sheer so you really have to build it up. For that reason, I wouldn't recommend this if you are looking for a heavy-duty cover-upper. "No.1", the lightest color out of the three available shades, is a light ivory that works well with NC/NW 20. The product sets to a nice matte finish and it lasts throughout the day with minimal creasing.
Overall, this is a pretty good concealer. I like the lightweight formulation and the subtle brightening effect. However, the shade range is limited and the packaging format is not my favorite. Also, the coverage is not very versatile; the concealer works well for under the eyes but if you need to camouflage a serious zit, you'd better have something else on hand.
