Clarins Fall 2017 | Lipliner Pencil in "06 Red" & 05 Roseberry" ($26 CAD):
Available in two new permanent shades, the Clarins Lipliner Pencil is a long-wearing lip liner with a lightweight, matte finish. "
06 Red" is a bright true red while "
05 Roseberry" is a beautiful warm rose. The liners apply like a dream and quickly set to a smudge-proof finish. The formulation clings well to the lips for an all-day wear but it is slightly drying. Nevertheless, these are some of the better lip liners I've tried over the years and I definitely recommend them if you are looking to extend the wear of your lipsticks.

Clarins Fall 2017 | Joli Rouge Lipstick in "754 Deep Red" & 755 Litchi" ($29 CAD):
There are three new permanent Joli Rouge lipsticks for Fall 2017. I have here "
754 Deep Red", a bright red with pink undertones (despite its name), and "
755 Litchi", a soft pretty rose. Both shades are wonderfully slick, hydrating, and ultra-comfy on the lips. Pigmentation-wise, the colors are very bold without being heavy. Both shades retain a juicy translucency that looks super cushioning and shiny. In terms of wear, the lipsticks aren't too bad. They will fade with eating and drinking but otherwise, there's not a lot of bleeding or creasing.

Clarins Fall 2017 | Blush Prodige in "09 Golden Pink" ($33 CAD):
This is a gorgeous warm pink powder blush with a radiant golden sheen. Housed in an elegant compact containing 7.5g of product, "
09 Golden Pink" looks a bit icy in the pan but it's actually a flattering fresh pink that gives the cheeks a healthy and youthful glow. Formulation-wise, the blush is simply amazing! The color is pigmented but not overly so. A soft swipe gives just the right amount of color and it lasts all day! I've long hit pan on the
Blush Prodige from the Fall 2014 Collection so "09 Golden Pink" is going to take its place very soon!

Clarins Fall 2017 | Graphik Ink Liner in "01 Intense Black" ($30 CAD):
With an easy-to-use felt tip applicator, the Graphik Ink Liner is a black liquid eyeliner with a pigmented and quick-drying formulation. The application is nice and simple as one swipe provides an opaque and intense coverage. Unfortunately, the formulation is not long-wearing. Not only is the liner non-waterproof, it smudges with only minor contact, which is a big dealbreaker for me.
Clarins Fall 2017 | Ombre Matte Eyeshadow in "09 Ivory" & "10 Midnight Blue" ($26 CAD):
Housed in a simple 7g plastic jar, the Ombre Matte Eyeshadow is a creamy powder shadow with two new permanent shades for Fall 2017. "
09 Ivory" is a satin eggshell white while "
10 Midnight Blue" is a satin deep navy. The blue is richly pigmented and super smooth while the yellow-ivory is disappointingly sheer and patchy. The Ombre Mattes have generally been really well-formulated in the past so I'm not sure why "09 Ivory" is so chunky and uneven. With that said, "10 Midnight Blue" is definitely a winner if you are looking for an intense dark blue shadow.

Clarins Fall 2017 | 4-Color Eyeshadow Palette in "06 Forest" ($45 CAD):
A gorgeous eyeshadow quad with a green color scheme, the 4-Color Eyeshadow Palette in "
06 Forest" includes a pale opalescent champagne, a medium green shimmer, a deep satin mossy green, and a dark forest green shimmer. The four shades are highly complementary and the formulation is just superb. The shadows are pigmented, creamy, and highly blendable.

Here is a look I created using all four shades in the quad paired with the Graphik Ink Liner. This is definitely a fantastic palette for those looking for a sophisticated fall look.

Yes! Another solid collection from Clarins! Although the Graphik Ink Liner and the Ombre Matte in "09 Ivory" are disappointing, all the rest of the products are amazing! My personal recommendations are the Blush Prodige, the 4-Color Eyeshadow Palette, and both of the Joli Rouge lipsticks. So, what are your thoughts on this collection?
