Too Faced Peaches & Cream Collection | Just Peachy Mattes Eyeshadow Palette: Review and Swatches
Thanks to the unbelievable success of the Sweet Peach Palette from last summer, Too Faced has devoted itself to creating even more peach-inspired products. So for Fall 2017, the brand has a spanking new peach-themed line called the Peaches & Cream Collection, available exclusively at Sephora as a permanent range. I've got quite a few products from the collection to share with you so I am starting today with the Just Peachy Mattes Eyeshadow Palette ($55 CAD). Packaging:
The Just Peachy Mattes Eyeshadow Palette is housed in a shiny gold compact with a large mirror. The palette shuts magnetically and it is adorned with two adorable peach-shaped clasps that help easily open the lid, which is covered with a large piece of raised glossy sticker design. Inside are 12 shades of eyeshadows and they each weigh 1.25g. The overall palette is very elegant and cute but I do prefer the metal tin packaging of the original Sweet Peach Palette.

Formulation:
With 12 peach-inspired shades, the Just Peachy Mattes shadows are infused with peach and fig extract. Right off the bat, I noticed that these shadows do not smell nearly as sweet as that of the Sweet Peach Palette. If I get up real close, I can detect just a faint hint of peach fragrance but otherwise, the shadows don't really smell like much.

I am a big fan of Too Faced's matte eyeshadows (see Natural Matte Eye Palette, one of my all-time favorite palettes) but I was a little let down by the formulation of this palette at first. Although nicely pigmented and non-patchy, the Just Peachy Mattes lack that creamy, silky, and soft texture of the usual Too Faced matte formulation. With the exception of a few shades, the shadows feel a tad too "hard" for my liking. However, the colors apply and blend very nicely on the lids. So although these shadows lack that silky soft, almost cream-like texture of the usual Too Faced mattes, they perform just as well when actually worn on the lids. See below for a breakdown of all 12 shades.

Peach Meringue: A light milky cream, Peach Meringue is a bit sheer and dusty when swatched but it wears nicely on the lids.
Peach Butter: This is a slightly pinker version of Peach Meringue. The color is almost indistinguishable from Peach Meringue when worn on the lid so I could have done with just one of these lighter shades.
Peaches and Cream: This is lovely light peach. Again, the color swatches kind of chalky but it applies and blends evenly on the lids.
Peach Tea: This is a natural light tan; the texture is actually very soft, much more in line with what I've come to expect with Too Faced matte shadows.

Just Peachy: With a slightly chalkier formulation, Just Peachy is a pale fresh peach. Although this one feels pretty dry and patchy when swatched, it performs just fine on the lids.
Fresh-Picked: A light terracotta peach, this shade is even and nicely pigmented.
Peach Cobbler: This is a burnt peach. Similar to Peach Tea, it has a nice and creamy formulation.
Peach Punch: A very bright and intense coral peach, Peach Punch is super pigmented so a little goes a long way!

Peach Sangria: The only shade in this palette with just a hint of sheen,  Peach Sangria is a plummy warm pink. Unfortunately, the color is a bit patchy.
Peach Tart: This is a nice neutral soil brown. The formulation is pigmented and non-chalky.
Just Ripe: This is a plummy maroon brown. It swatches a little sheer and uneven but it works nicely as a crease color.
Chocolate Dipped: A dark taupe brown, Chocolate Dipped has a soft and silky formulation.

Below is a look I created using Peach Meringue, Peach Butter, Just Peachy, Peach Punch, Peach Sangria, and Just Ripe. You can really see just how intense Peach Punch is. I thought the color would soften out when blended but it remained bright and eye-catching!

Overall, this is a very good palette. Although the shadows don't feel super silky and creamy when swatched, they perform very well on the lids. The colors are warm and fall-friendly but depending on your skin tone and personal preference, the shade selection may be a bit limited. However, if you dig the colors and you love anything peachy, then definitely check this out in stores!
