Fresh | Vitamin Nectar Antioxidant Glow Water & Vitamin C Glow Powder: Review
Earlier this summer, I had the pleasure of meeting Lev Glazman and Alina Roytberg, co-founders of Fresh, at a Vancouver media lunch, during which the duo unveiled a handful of product launching this fall. Available starting August 2018, Vitamin Nectar Antioxidant Glow Water and Vitamin Nectar Vitamin C Glow Powder are two new members of the Vitamin Nectar family designed to boost glow and radiance. I've got reviews of both to share with you today. To read on, click......
Fresh | Vitamin Nectar Antioxidant Glow Water: Review
Fresh | Vitamin Nectar Antioxidant Glow Water
Fresh | Vitamin Nectar Antioxidant Glow Water ($54 CAD for 250 ml or $30 for 100 ml):
Formulated with vitamin C (tones, brightens, and protects), vitamin E (softens and soothes), and vitamin B5 (smoothes and hydrates), the Vitamin Nectar Antioxidant Glow Water comes in a non-aerosol metal bottle equipped with a fine-spray nozzle. Also infused with extracts of lemon and orange containing naturally-occurring AHAs and a mineral complex consisting of magnesium, copper, and zinc, the alcohol-free Glow Water has a subtle and fresh citrus scent. Upon application, the spray feels immediately hydrating and lightly cooling. It dries down after a minute or so and leaves behind a slightly tacky residue. The formulation isn't greasy per se but on my oily skin, it feels slightly heavy. Fresh recommends using the spray as a primer, setting spray, or just a mid-day pick-me-up but I personally would not use it over makeup as it adds too much shine. Overall, this is a refreshing facial mist containing some great ingredients. However, unless you have dry to normal skin or prefer a dewy, slightly shiny complexion, the formulation may prove to be too heavy and oily for frequent use.

Fresh | Vitamin C Glow Powder: Review
Fresh | Vitamin Nectar Vitamin C Glow Powder
Probably one of the more interesting skincare releases I've seen lately, the Vitamin Nectar Vitamin C Glow Powder is an easy-to-use foaming facial infused with 20% vitamin C designed to instantly smooth and brighten the skin. Available in packs of 12, each dose of the Glow Powder is housed in a small packet separated in two comparts. To use, simply fold the packet in half, tear, and pour the contents of both into the palm of your hands. Mix in a small amount of water until the powder foams and gently massage onto damp skin.

The foam feels quite warm and tingly due to the potent vitamin C concentration but I did not experience any redness or sensitivity. I like that the powder has a slightly grainy texture so when it's massaged onto the face, it provides a gentle mechanical exfoliation. After rinsing, my face feels instantly smoother and it looks noticeably brighter and more radiant so the product definitely lives up to its claim. Overall, this is a great product for travelling or special occasions. The small, compact format is easy to pack and the instant glow effect makes it suitable for use before big events. I do find the price a bit steep but given that Fresh recommends only one use per week, $49 is not too bad for a three month supply.
