Packaging:
The Mary Kay TimeWise Matte 3D Foundation comes in a simple squeezable tube. The packaging is travel-friendly and lightweight but I do wish it had a more tapered nozzle as the flat opening gets quite messy with the foundation caking around the screw top threads.

Formulation:
Infused with microspheres that absorb oil to ensure a long-lasting, natural matte finish, the TimeWise Matte 3D Foundation has a light to medium coverage that's buildable and easy to blend. Although the foundation is technically matte, it looks quite natural and non-cakey. The finish is lightweight and breathable and it does indeed delay shine. There is minimal creasing but I do notice some fading and settling, especially around my nose area. Additionally, the oil-control property does make my skin feel a bit dry at the end of the day so I wouldn't recommend this to those with dry skin.
The TimeWise Matte 3D Foundation shades are divided into three color families: Ivory, Beige, and Bronze. Within each family, the shades are further categorized by numbers and undertones. I have here three of the lighter shades in the range. "Ivory C 100" is a pale porcelain, "Ivory W 130" is a warm ivory, and "Ivory N 160" is a slightly peachy ivory-beige. All three shades oxidize quite a bit so it's probably best to let them fully before color-matching.

I have below a before and after comparison using the shade "Ivory W 130". As you can see, the foundation provides a fairly sheer coverage and although it's blurring and matte, it does catch onto some dry areas around my eyes and brows. It's also interesting to note that although the shade swatches quite warm on the back of my hand, it doesn't look nearly as yellow when worn on the face.

Mary Kay | Blending Brush ($20 CAD):
Released alongside the TimeWise Matte 3D Foundation, the new Blending Brush is a densely packed oval makeup brush designed for foundation and other cream and liquid products. Mary Kay doesn't specify the type of fiber used but I presume that it's synthetic. The bristles are super soft but dense and the handle has a textured, easy-to-grip finish. The brush top is a touch smaller than I personally prefer but the application is still smooth and seamless. Additionally, the brush doesn't absorb much product so your foundation will go a long way.
