Omorovicza | Silver Skin Saviour Mask: Review
Known for its anti-bacterial properties, colloidal silver has long been a topical treatment for blemish-prone skin. Harnessing those properties along with the refining properties or niacinamide and exfoliating properties glycolic acid, the Omorovicza Silver Skin Saviour ($125 for 50 ml) is a gentle exfoliating mask designed to combat acne and congested pores. So how well does it work? Read on to find out......

Housed in a frosted glass jar, the Silver Skin Saviour is formulated with glycolic and salicylic acid (an AHA and BHA, respectively) for exfoliation, niacinamide (vitamin B3) for sebum control, colloidal silver for its antibacterial properties, and shea butter for moisturization. With a thick but easy to spread texture, the mask has a vaseline-like appearance that turns slightly milky when it comes in contact with the skin. The formulation feels very luxurious and nourishing and it is easily removes with a damp towel and warm water. Unlike other glycolic/AHA masks I've tried, the Silver Skin Saviour did not tingle or sting, which leads me to believe that the concentration is probably low, making it suitable for all skin types.

Omorovicza | Silver Skin Saviour
After removal, my skin feels decongested but not stripped of its natural moisture. In fact, the mask is quite softening and nourishing, thanks to the glycerin base and the added shea butter. Overall, this is a nourishing and gentle exfoliating mask perfect for those with acne-prone skin. The $125 price tag is definitely steep but the formulation is top-notch and effective.
