Lano | Jet Set Travel Essentials, 101 Ointment & Lanolips Tinted Lip Balm: Review and Swatches
Earlier this year I was introduced to the Australian lanolin beauty company called Lano. I tried and loved several of their Lanolips products (see here) so I wanted to delve deeper into their catalogue. Therefore, I want to share with you today a handful of Lano favorites that would make some perfect holiday gifts and stocking stuffers! To read about these rich, sheep wax-based products available in stores and online at Sephora, click......

Lano | Jet Set Travel Essentials (C$36 for 3 x 30 ml):
A gift set perfect for those new to Lano, the Jet Set Travel Essentials set includes three mini-sized 30 ml Lano Face Base products (full-sized available separately at Sephora). The Lano Face Base Gelcream Glycerin Cleanser is a super gentle and non-drying gel-cream hybrid cleanser formulated with glycerin and lanolin. The formulation lathers surprisingly well and I love the comforting soapy scent.

Ingredients: Water, Disodium Laureth Sulphosuccinate, Decyl Glucoside, Glycerin, Acrylates Copolymer, Lauryl Glucoside, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Polyquaternium-7, Betaine, Glycol Stearate, Fragrance (Natural), Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Sodium Hydroxide, Ethylhexylglycerin, Polyquaternium-10, Tetrasodium EDTA, Lanolin Oil.

Next up is the Lano Face Base The Aussie Flyer Leave-On Recovery Mask. Formulated with lanolin, shea butter, cocoa butter, caffeine, and peppermint oil, this is a rich leave-on mask/cream designed to reboot dull, fatigued skin. As expected, the texture is quite heavy but it's also very nourishing. As I have oily-combination skin, I can't imagine using this regularly but for those with dry to very dry skin, the Leave-On Recovery Mask makes for a very rich treatment.

Ingredients: Water, Lanolin, Butrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Cetearyl Alcohol, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Glyceryl Stearate, Glycerin, Cetearyl Glucoside, Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate, Phenoxyethanol, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Triticium Vulgare (Wheat) Germ Oil, Caffeine, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Xanthan Gum, Tocopherol (Vit E), Potassium Sorbate, Benzyl Alcohol, Citric Acid, Zingiber Officinale (Ginger) Root Oil, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Oil, Fragrance (Natural).

Last but not least is the Lano Face Base Vitamin E Day Cream. A much lighter moisturizer in comparison to the Leave-On Recovery Mask, this product contains lanolin, shea, oats, and vitamin E. I'm fairly picky when it comes to moisturizers but the Lano Face Base Vitamin E Day Cream really wowed me with its nourishing texture, long-lasting hydration, and non-greasy finish. If you are curious about Lano skincare, this is a must-try!

Ingredients: Water, Lanolin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Caprylic/Capric Triglycerides, Glyceryl Stearate, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Meal, Glycerin, Sodium Polyacrylate Starch, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Fragrance (Natural), Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate, Benzyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Glucoside, Carrageenan, Ethylhexylglycerin, Milk Powder, Ascorbic Acid, Tocopherol (Vit E), Citric Acid.
Lano | Lanolips The Original 101 Ointment: Review
Lano | Lanolips The Original 101 Ointment Multipurpose Superbalm
Lano | Lanolips The Original 101 Ointment Multipurpose Superbalm (C$23 for 15 g):
The number one bestseller from Lano, The Original 101 Ointment Multipurpose Superbalm is made of pure lanolin and no other ingredients. Suitable for use on the lips, elbows, cuticles, and just about anywhere on your body and face, the 101 Ointment has a super thick and waxy texture that's slightly difficult to blend. The finish is tacky but it really clings to the skin and retains moisture. If you struggle with extremely dry skin and are looking to try some pure lanolin, this is the product to start with!
Lano | Lanolips 101 Ointment, Coconutter 101 Ointment & Rose Gold 101 Ointment Review and Swatches

Lano | Lanolips 101 Ointment Multi-Balm Coconutter (C$19 for 10 g):
This is a coconut variant of The Original 101 Ointment that's made with lanolin, naturally-derived flavor, vitamin E, and coconut oil. The Coconutter formulation is a touch lighter than The Original 101 Ointment, which makes it easier to spread. Personally, I really enjoy the subtle coconut scent as I mostly use the ointment on my lips. Lastly, it's worth noting that of the three 101 Ointments I have here, Coconutter is the only one equipped with a convenient slant tip applicator.

Lano | Lanolips Rose Gold 101 Ointment (C$23 for 9 g):
A tinted version of The Original 101 Ointment, the Rose Gold 101 Ointment is a tinted balm designed for the lips and cheeks. With a semi-sheer red hue scattered with fine golden shimmers, the Rose Gold 101 Ointment contains lanolin, beeswax, and vitamin E. The formulation is a bit too thick and heavy to be blended on the cheeks but it makes for a lovely tinted balm great for those looking for long-lasting hydration with a hint of color.

Ingredients: Lanolin, Lanolin Cera (Wax), Cera Alba (Beeswax), Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Mica, Aroma (Flavour), Tocopherol (Vit E), Benzyl Alcohol, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Tin Oxide, Limonene, Titanium Dioxide (Ci 77891), Red 7 Lake (Ci 15850), Iron Oxide (Ci 77491).

Lano | Lanolips Tinted Lip Balm (C$19 for 12.5 g):
Currently available in a limited shade range at Sephora, the Lanolips Tinted Lip Balm is a super-rich lanolin-based lip balm that also contains shea butter and cocoa butter. Similar to the thick and nourishing texture of the Rose Gold 101 Ointment, the Tinted Lip Balms really seal in the moisture. It feels quite tacky when first applied but will warm up to a smoother texture after a few minutes on the lips. The heavier finish may not be for everyone but if you are looking for a heavy-duty lip balm with a natural hint of color, these are pretty darn awesome!

Ingredients: Lanolin, Theobroma Cacao Seed Butter, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Cera Alba/Beeswax, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Aroma (Natural), Prunus Amygdalus (Sweet Almond) Dulcis Oil, Cocos (Coconut) Nucifera Oil. May Contain (+/-): Hydrogenated Polydecene, Hydroxystearic Acid, Mica (Ci77019), Titanium Dioxide (Ci 77891), Red 28 Lake (45410), Red 33 Lake (17200), Yellow 5 Lake (19140), Red 6 (15850), Iron Oxides (Ci77491).
