Jimmy Choo | Fever Eau de Parfum: Review
Released back in Summer 2018, Jimmy Choo Fever Eau de Parfum (C$121 for 100 ml) is a floral gourmand fragrance inspired by the woman who's "an innate extrovert with a playful energy and a sense of fun". Boasting notes of black plum nectar, heliotrope, and roasted tonka beans, Fever is addictive and sensual. The scent was repromoted for Valentine's Day this year so Jimmy Choo had kindly sent me a bottle to try. To learn more about Fever and read my review on the scent, click......

The Bottle:
Fever is housed in the classic Jimmy Choo perfume bottle, a round multi-faceted bulb juxtaposed with a sharp, cubic cap. The bottle has a mysterious berry ombre that gives a peek to the clear perfume liquid inside.

The Scent:
Opening on a splash of tart and sticky plum, Fever from Jimmy Choo is a very sweet floral with a hint of gourmand thanks to the notes of heliotrope, tonka, and vanilla. The scent has a familiar feel, reminiscent of YSL Black Opium or similar floral gourmands. The sillage and longevity are both decent but because it's a heavy and heady scent, some may find it a bit overwhelming. Personally, this is not my cup of tea. I don't mind sweeter florals but it's important that they are balanced with lighter top notes. However, based on other reviews, Fever certainly has an audience. If you love warm, sexy, and sweet florals and gourmands, this is a must-try!

Top Notes: Black Plum, Lychee, Grapefruit
Heart Notes: Heliotrope, Vanilla Orchid, Jasmine
Base Notes: Roasted Tonka Bean, Benzoin, Sandalwood
