New year, new me! Right? 2021 is here and I have my fingers crossed for some good news, or just some normalcy, whatever that is at this point in time. I recently took possession of my new home and have moved in for the first time with my boyfriend so I have a lot on my plate right now. Blogging with be taking a backseat for a bit but I'll try my best to still write a few reviews here and there. Since the new year is here, I wanted to talk about a product I received over the holidays that helped refresh and prep my skin for a brand new start. Rodan + Fields | Micro-Dermabrasion Paste

Housed in a sleek silver jar, the Rodan + Fields Micro-Dermabrasion Paste is a very scrubby facial exfoliant packed with salt and sugar crystals and nourishing oils. The formulation is, as its name suggests, quite thick and pasty. Rodan + Fields advises massaging it over dry skin which provides a very effective exfoliation. The paste melts slightly upon contact with body heat so it spreads smoothly on the skin. The formulation washes cleanly off of the skin with minimal residue, leaving the skin feeling incredibly soft and smooth. As compared to some of the other facial scrubs on the market, the Rodan + Fields Micro-Dermabrasion Paste is definitely more abrasive in comparison. The formulation is very scrubby so those with sensitive skin may want to wet their face before application to ease the friction. However, the result is phenomenal! This is not a product I would recommend using on a regular basis but if you want an occasional skin refresh or a special prep before a big event, the Mirco-Dermabrasion Paste will literally give you baby-soft skin!
