TPSY | *NEW* Makeup Collection at Avon: Review and Swatches
If it feels like I'm writing a lot about Avon lately, it's because the company really stepped up its game recently by offering lots of Korean beauty products that are far more interesting than their usual in-house brands. Case in point is the new TPSY makeup collection. With an exclusive lineup available through Avon Canada, TPSY appears to be an indie beauty company founded in New York in 2016. There is very little information on the brand (even on its own website) but it seems that all TPSY products are K-beauty inspired and made in Korea. Right off the bat, I was intrigued by the simple, Glossier-esque packaging. But how do the products actually perform? Read my review to find out......

TPSY | I Want to Highlight You Liquid Highlighter
TPSY | I Want to Highlight You Liquid Highlighter (C$30 for 30 ml):
Packaged in an adorable baby pink pump bottle, this is a liquid highlighter that also doubles as a radiant primer. With a sheer scattering of ultrafine, iridescent pink shimmers, the I Want to Highlight You Liquid Highlighter is easy to blend and super lightweight. The finish is satin-matte with no palpable residue. Personally, I think the formulation is way too sheer to work as a highlighter. It provides a subtle sheen at best. Therefore, the formulation probably works better mixed into a medium to full coverage foundation to add a bit of glow without significantly watering down the coverage. Is it a must-have product? Certainly not for me but I can see it finding an audience in younger Gen Z consumers looking for something light and fun for everyday use.

TPSY | Brows on Fleek Dual Eyeshadow Definer: Review and Swatches
TPSY | Brows on Fleek Dual Eyeshadow Definer
TPSY | Brows on Fleek Dual Eyeshadow Definer (C$30 for 0.5 g/2.7g):
This is a dual-ended brow product with a triangular-shaped brow pencil on one end and a tinted brow gel on the other. There are four shades available and I have "Cacao Nibs", the darkest of the four. The brow pencil has the right balance of pigmentation and waxiness but the packaging is flawed. The twist-to-retract mechanism broke on my second use, resulting in the lead of the pencil breaking off completely at the base, deeming it completely unusable. The tinted setting gel on the other end is surprisingly pigmented but I do feel that the bristle applicator is a bit big for someone with sparse brows like me. So more of the gel ended up around my brows than on my brow. It's worth noting though that the gel provides a pretty good hold; although the pigmented mascara-like formulation is a bit clumpy.

TPSY | Drunk Shiny Lip Oil (C$22 for 3.7 g):
A hybrid between a gloss and a balm, the Drunk Shiny Lip Oil is a nourishing lip oil formulated with jojoba and argan oil. With a pink tint that leaves behind a flattering stain, the Drunk Shiny Lip Oil in "001 Love Galore" feels hydrating and lightweight on the lips with zero stickiness. The wear time is a bit short as compared to a traditional lip gloss but the formulation is much more comfortable on the lips. Currently, there is only one shade available so I would love to see a few new shades added to the collection.

TPSY | Forever Lip Marker (C$22 for 2.5 ml):
Last but not least is this liquid lip stain in the form of a felt-tip marker. Available in five fun and vibrant shades, the Forever Lip Marker is super pigmented, leaving behind a saturated color with zero residue. "003 Crazy Rabit" appears as a bright orange in the tube but once applied to the lips it turns into a very bright, almost neon red with a hint of orange. The formulation is very long-lasting but to keep the lips hydrated, the tint is best topped with a balm or gloss.
