The packaging is refillable, with the refills each sold separately for $49 (for 3.2g). Alternatively, you have the option to really spluge by pairing your lipstick with a Dior Addict Case (C$52 each). Recently, Dior released 3 new case styles, "Tutu", "Pinkmania", and "Dior Oblique".
Formulation:
Made with 90% natural-origin ingredients including jasmine wax and plum oil, the Dior Addict Shine Lipsticks have a super slick and hydrating formulation that glides effortlessly on the lips, providing a luminous, lightweight shine. With a light fruity scent, the Dior Addict Shine Lipstick has a semi-sheer pigmentation that's smooth, buildable, and non-patchy. There is minimal creasing or settling, so the color sits beautifully atop the lips without emphasizing wrinkles or dry patches. The longevity is a bit lacking, but that is somewhat expected with such a high-shine and hydrating formulation. Please see below for a breakdown of a few shades from the new Nudes'N Roses release.
426 Dior Rodeo: This is a very wearable nude rose. I appreciate how natural and muted the shade is while still providing enough color so it doesn't wash me out. It's a great option for an everyday look.
734 D-Club: This is a soft brick red with a very warm undertone. The color is perfect for the fall season.
786 D-Player: A deep rosewood with cool undertones, D-Player is one of my favorite shades from this collection. The color is incredibly flattering and gives off a sophisticated, polished vibe.
862 Diorevolution: This is another deep rosewood with a warm undertone. The color is similar to D-Player, just a touch warmer.
871 D-Dream: A deep nude rosewood with a strong hint of beige, D-Dream is a lot more muted compared to the other colors. Personally, it looks too severe and dull on me, but I can see it being a beautiful neutral option for those with deeper complexions.
Overall, this is a stunning color line-up. Initially, I thought some of the shades looked a bit too similar, but I’ve come to appreciate the subtle, nuanced differences that cater to a wider range of skin tones and undertones. Each shade brings something unique to the table that makes the collection feel truly curated and versatile. Whether you're looking for a soft rosewood or a muted brick red, there's something here for everyone.
