Alongside the launch of the new Dior Backstage Rosy Glow Stick (reviewed here), Dior has also refreshed its bestselling Dior Backstage Rosy Glow Blush (C$55 for 4.5g) with an updated packaging and a slightly refined formula. Now available in seven shades, some returning favorites and others brand new, the Rosy Glow Blush promises a weightless, luminous flush that adapts to your skin’s pH level for a custom, healthy glow. The new Dior Backstage Rosy Glow Blush now comes in a square compact, replacing the original rectangular design (see the original in my review here). While the overall aesthetic remains the same, the updated look feels a bit more modern thanks to the Dior Oblique logo.

The Dior Backstage Rosy Glow Blush is a powder blush formulated with pH-activated pigments to deliver a custom flush and long-lasting tint. This updated version features a slightly tweaked formula with improved color payoff, though the overall finish still leans sheer and buildable. Only a few original shades have returned (001 Pink, 006 Berry, 012 Rosewood, 015 Cherry), while several new additions have joined the lineup (063 Pink Lilac, 077 Candy, 103 Toffee). Although the pigmentation has been amped up slightly, the formula remains light, airy, and silky. Some shades have a noticeable staining effect, which helps extend wear time. See below for a closer look at a few of the shades.

001 Pink: The shade that started it all, this is a pale baby pink with a strong, cool undertone.
006 Berry: This is a deep wine red with strong pigmentation. The color is quite intense, so I think it’s more suitable for medium to dark skin tones.
012 Rosewood: This is a beautiful natural rose with a hint of peach. The color is the most universally flattering of the bunch.
063 Pink Lilac: A new addition to the lineup, this is a soft baby pink with a strong hint of lavender. The shade is pretty, but given that 001 Pink already leans very cool, I feel like we really don't need another cool-toned pink.
103 Toffee: With visible golden shimmers, this is a golden nude peach. The color is very natural and definitely warm-toned.
