Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blushes: Review and Swatches

These two Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blushes came separately in two holiday sets I bought last Christmas. "Splendor" came in the Sephora Favorites In the Glow Sampler set and "Adventurous" came in the Tarte Carried Away Collection. Unfortunately, neither of these colors are available individually, so this post is more of a "hey look what I have that you can't get" post. Sorry.
However, the full line of other Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blushes probably carries similar shades or something else that tickles your fancy.

Splendor:
This is very pretty; good texture and color pay-off. But I feel that as with many coral with golden shimmer blushes out there, this is such a generic color. In my opinion, "Orgasm" from NARS, "Hot Mama" from theBalm, and "Bella Bamba" from Benefit are all pretty much the same thing, and I think makeup companies should start coming up with some new variations, because we don't really need another "Orgasm" dupe on the market.

Adventurous:
This one, fortunately, isn't very generic. It is a shimmery mauve-y taupe. It looks rather dull in the pan but it is incredibly flattering on the cheek. This sort of feels like a mix between a blush and a contour color. Again, good pigmentation and good texture.
