Henna Nails: Manicure Featuring bigRuby Henna Nail Tattoos

Disclaimer: The nail tattoos were provided for review.
A few days ago I received the nail tattoos bigRuby kindly sent us to review and boy was I excited! Nail tattoos aren't something I have ever tried (though I have used temporary body tattoos on my nails before) so I was super excited. I received the "Henna" and "Ikat" designs and let me just say these are some of the cutest and classiest designs I have ever seen. To see more pictures and a review, click......

So each design comes with two sheets of tattoos of various designs, colors, and sizes. Most of the nail tattoo designs I have seen on the market are all in my opinion super tacky, but not these! Each of bigRuby's designs are so intricate and sophisticated (click on each image to view full size)!

The backing of the tattoos also shows the location of the designs for accurate placement.
The Henna design comes with 86 tattoos and they are differently sized for both toe and finger nails. The Ikat design comes with 20 strips of patterns. For this look, I used 13 henna tattoos on each hand, I started with only two on my ring finger as accents, but I had so much fun that I went full out and applied some on all fingers!

Here I went full out with the tattoos, I think they look super cool!
Close-up of the beautiful design, look how intricate it is!
There is really no need for me to go into details about the application as these are applied the same way as temporary tattoos; stick them on the nail, press down with a wet cotton pad, peel away the backing, and finish off with a top coat. I personally cannot master stamping so these are in my opinion an easy and fuss-free alternative! The only thing I would have liked is if there were more of the same designs because with only two tattoos of each design, you can only do accent nails unless you are willing to mix things up.

Lastly I just want to mention that bigRuby is a PETA certified, cruelty-free company that donated over $2000 last year to The Kindness Ranch charity (read more here). I personally think it is super amazing when companies take interest in animal welfare, so kudos to bigRuby!

Hope you liked today's look, head on over to bigRuby (they ship internationally) to check out other super awesome tattoos!
Thanks for reading, cheers!
