Both pencils are very shimmery and have specks of silver glitter which makes application a tad gritty. The pigmentation is decent but I think these are intended to provide a subtle sheen as opposed to intense color. Also, I experienced a bit of creasing. Because of the relatively larger glitter bits, I personally would only use them on my lids and most likely as a shadow base because I think these could definitely help intensify pastel colored eyeshadows.
