Under the Sea Nails: Manicure featuring Born Pretty Store Water Decals

Disclaimer: Product featured was provided for review.
Hi everyone, hope you are all doing well! Today I have a fun and playful "Under the Sea" manicure featuring some Born Pretty Store  nail art water decals to share with you.
Born Pretty Store recently stocked up on a lot of new water decal nail stickers and among one of them is this under the sea set with various children's book illustration like images of mermaid, scuba diver boy, fish, octopus, sea stars, and seaweed! The design was too cute to miss so I had to do a post on it! To read more about the products I used, click......

This water decal sheet ($1.99) comes with various under the sea elements including a beautiful mermaid and a blissful whale! The decals are as always super easy to apply and when topped with a top coat, it melds with the polish and appears just as if they were painted on. The only small drawback with this particular design is that all the designs are connected so you have to trim out the designs you want by hand. Not a huge hassle but it's still annoying.
For my "Under the Sea" look, I started with a white base ("T-Shirt" from American Apparel). I taped off the bottom of my nails with some striping tapes and proceeded by dabbing on a bit of blue polish ("The Valley" from American Apparel) to create a wave-y water effect. After doing the mosaic gradient, I applied the decals (I have a short tutorial here). After the decals are on I dabbed some "Vanessa" from Julep (a iridescent glitter) and added a few loose large hexagon glitters to add some glimmering effect to the "water". And finally the design was topped off with a generous amount of top coat!
