New for Spring 2014, the Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipsticks ($30 USD) is a line of high-intensity lipsticks released by Estée Lauder. The line features 21 highly pigmented full coverage lipsticks with a hydrating formulation. I have here a beautiful rich dark pink called "Tumultuous Pink", to see some swatches and my review, click......
What it is:
-High-intensity lipstick in one swipe
-Multi-faceted pigment creates definition
-Time-release Moisture Complex helps capture and seal-in hydration so lips feel moisturized throughout the day
-6 Hour wear
The lipstick is housed in a super luxurious gold and blue case with a one click magnetic closure feature. The lipstick also has a nice weight to it, I love lipsticks cases with a good weight to them!
Pigmentation & Application:
The formulation of this lipstick is simply one of the best I have tried. Rich, creamy, moisturizing and highly pigmented, it's basically the dream lipstick. The color "Tumultuous Pink" is a gorgeous reddish pink that's bold and flattering.
Estée Lauder says this lipstick lasts for six hours but I'd say this could last longer than that, depending on how much eating and drinking you do. This particular color is so rich that it stained the lips quite a bit so even when the lipstick wears off there is still a beautiful tint left behind. The lipstick also feels very cushiony and moisturizing, almost like a lip balm!
Here is the color swatched on my arm, it is so gorgeous!lip brush to apply the lipstick to get cleaner lines because this is such a bold color.
-Lips remain stained even after the lipstick wears off
-Moisturizing and creamy formulation
-None! This lipstick is as good as it gets!
The pigmentation and formulation of this lipstick are absolutely amazing and the packaging makes it such a treat to keep in my makeup collection. I actually wanted to pick up a few more shades during the Sephora VIB sale but the collection isn't available there yet. At alas, the next time I see them......
