Shu Uemura Brave Beauty Vision of Beauty Collection Vol 01 Satin Radiant Stick: Review and Swatches

Disclaimer: Product featured was provided for review.
Hey hey hey, Happy Monday! Today I have a couple more products from Shu Uemura's new Vision of Beauty Vol. 01- Brave Beauty Collection to share with you. The Satin Radiant Sticks ($55 CAD) come in four colors, two highlighting colors that help define bone structure and two blush colors that give the cheeks a healthy glow. I have here today the shades "Light Pink" and "Pink". To see some swatches and my thoughts on the products, click.......
Packaging:
The Satin Radiant Sticks are packaged in large white twist-up tubes. The outside has very cool orange, pink, and metallic brushstroke designs. The product can be dabbed directly onto the cheeks/face or it can be stippled on with a flat top foundation brush.
Left: Pink; Right: Light Pink.
Formulation:
Pink is a blush color and Light Pink is highlighting color. Both sticks have a very smooth texture, like a cream blush/highlighter. The product sets to a very natural glowy finish but doesn't stay on very long even if I try to set it with a powder (although I think it's because I have rather oily skin and generally have issues with cream products). Light Pink works really well as a cheek, brow, or even an inner corner highlight and Pink is a very natural girly blush (face swatches to come soon in my roundup post).

Overall:
I love the adorable packaging of these Satin Radiant Sticks as they remind me of glue sticks from grade school art classes. I had trouble keeping the product from fading off but otherwise the formulation and pigmentation are phenomenal.

Availability:
The Shu Uemura Brave Beauty Vision of Beauty Collection Vol 01 is available now online and in stores at Sephora, Holt Renfrew, and The Bay. The collection is limited edition so act fast!
