Vasanti Lipshine: Review and Swatches

Disclaimer: Product featured was provided for review.

Hey everyone, Happy September! This is the first September in a long long time that I do not have to go back to school for and I am feeling very ok about it! It's nice to have a break, I think I deserve it...
Anyhow, for those of you that are going back to school, I bid you a productive and rewarding school year!
Today, I want to introduce to you some new lip glosses from Vasanti's Myeong-Dong Collection. Inspired by the color palettes of Seoul's main shopping district Myeong-Dong (translates to "bright town" in Korean), this collection features a variety of color makeup adapted to North American skin tones. What it is:
A line of vitamin E infused lip glosses that provide true color and extreme shine.

The Lipshines come in traditional transparent lip gloss tubes with a standard doe-foot applicator.

Formulation & Pigmentation:
All four Lipshines from the Myeong-Dong Collection have a very thin and non-sticky texture. The gloss feels wet and moisturizing on the lips and it provides an intense shine. However, because the gloss is not very viscous or sticky, it smudges easily and wears off in just under two hours.
Interestingly, all four shades from the collection are named after a river.
Belle River:
A creamy coral, this one is very pigmented but the colors settles into the fine lines of the lips.
St. Lawrence:
This one is a pastel pink with no shimmers. I find St. Lawrence a very hard shade to pull off but it would benefit those with a super pale complexion. With this color, I also experienced a lot of settling/creasing.
Rio Grande:
A peachy "my lips but better" nude gloss with subtle micro-shimmers, Rio Grande also settled into the lines of lips quite a bit. The finish is very plump and shiny nonetheless.
River Finn:
This one is definitely the star of the four. Pigmented and cushion-y, River Finn is a super bright magenta that not only gives the lips a crazy pop of color but also makes them look full and plump.
Here are some arm swatches of the glosses. River Finn (hot pink) and Belle River (coral) are two of the more pigmented of the four.
Vasanti is available online and in stores at Shoppers and Rexall.
