NYC New York Color Ice Skating in Rockefeller Center Makeup: #NYCBeautyPro November Challenge
For the November #NYCBeautyPro Challenge, New York Color has asked us to create a fresh-faced look perfect for having a good time at the ice skating rink at the Rockefeller Center in New York City. I tried to achieve a natural, dewy-cheeked look with the focus on the skin. To see some swatches of the products I used and a festive manicure look, click.......

NYC Cheek Glow in Nolita Pink ($4.99 CAD):
This is a gorgeous peachy coral powder blush with the slightest hint of golden shimmer. The pigmentation is semi-sheer so you can really control just how much rouge goes on your cheek.
For my skin, I used Estée Lauder's Perfectionist Youth-Infusing Makeup in "1N1 Ivory Nude".

Applelicious Glossy Lip Balm in Applelicious Pink ($3.49 CAD):
This is a super yummy lip balm with a lovely hint of color. The shade Applelicious Pink is actually a nicely pigmented berry pink. The balm is moisturizing and comfy on the lips, perfect for the winter weather.

Show Time Volume Waterproof Mascara $3.99 in Black:
With a waterproof formulation that volumizes, this mascara has a fairly small, straight, spoolie applicator. I found this one a bit weak, it didn't really lengthen or volumize as much as I had hoped.

For the nails, I created a festive combo using In A New York Color Minute Quick Dry Nail Polish in "Columbus Circle Crimson" and "Top of the Gold". The Red is a gorgeous deep red with a spectacular formula and glitter top coat is actually a unique gold flakie.

One coat of "Top of the Gold" over "Columbus Circle Crimson"
Even though I didn't get to play with any bold eye or lip colors, I am still quite happy with the look I created with these products! The dewy, fresh-faced look definitely works well in this cool weather!
