Nudestix Matte Lip Pen & Lip Pen Gloss: Review and Swatches
As you might remember, not too long ago I reviewed some pencil colors from the relatively new Nudestix cosmetics. Recently, the brand has added a line of Lip Pens ($28 CAD) to its range, featuring shiny nude glosses and matte lip creams. To see some swatches of these interesting new lip pens, click........

Packaging:
Unlike the traditional Nudestix that comes only in the pencil form. These lip pens come in a plastic twist-up pen with a brush tip. With each twist, the product inside gets pushed up and into the bristles. The design is quite handy and I've had no problem with the twist-up mechanism.

Formulation:
The Lip Pen comes in two different formulations: gloss and matte. The gloss I have here is called "Nudity", which is a simple brownish nude gloss with a nice and lightweight formulation. The gloss feels quite minty and tingling on the lips, but not uncomfortably so.

Lip Pen Gloss in "Nudity"
The matte lip pen has more of a lip cream formulation. The shade "Bare" is a brownish peach nude. The formulation is also minty and refreshing. The product emphasizes dryness and wrinkles on the lips so that's definitely a downside. Additionally, I am not a fan of this particular shade, it washes me out quite a bit so it's probably best for those with pale skin.

Overall:
I think these are fun additions to the core Nudestix line. The packaging is super convenient. Formulation-wise, the gloss is non-sticky and shiny. The matte formulation doesn't feel drying but accentuates dryness and wrinkles.
