Clarins Spring 2015 Garden Eden Collection: Review and Swatches
Inspired by pastoral spring gardens, the new Clarins 2015 Spring Garden Escape Collection features awe-inspiring colors and soft textures that help create the perfect spring makeup. Today I have a few items from the collection to share with you, keep on reading to see some swatches and review......
Limited Edition Garden Escape 6 Color Eye Palette ($44 CAD):
Packaged in pale shiny gold palette etched with a spring-y pattern, the Garden Escape palette comes with six fresh shadow shades pressed with a pretty flower design.

The six shades are:
Pearly White: Nicely pigmented white shimmer
Dark Mossy Green: Smoky forest green with a satin finish
Soft Pale Green: A soft smoky green with a satin finish, the pigmentation is a bit weak
Soft Warm Pink: Soft pink with subtle shimmers. Because the color is so pale, the color payoff is quite sheer.
Soft Pale Pink: A paler version of the previous color, this shade is also quite sheer.
Pale Taupe: A nice soft taupe satin, the formulation of this is nice, creamy and the pigmentation is great as well!

Instant Light Lip Balm Perfector in "05 Orange"($22 CAD):
A lightly tinted balm formulated with shea and jojoba butter, this is a moisturizing balm that provides a light sheen to the lips. "Orange" is a very, very sheer orange with no shimmers. The product comes in a nice and fancy lipstick tube and the packaging has a nice weight to it.

Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil in "Raspberry" ($23 CAD):
Touted as a revolutionary and unique lip product, the Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil is formulated with raspberry oil and jojoba oil to moisturize and condition the lips. The product comes in a cute rectangular tube with a huge doe-foot applicator. The name suggests a light and non-sticky formulation but on the lips I really couldn't distinguish the difference between this and a normal sheer lip gloss. The formulation is slightly tacky and on the lips.

Overall:
This is definitely a beautiful collection. The palette is great if you are into soft springy shades that are not too frosty or shimmery. The Instant Light Lip Balm Perfector is a beautiful tinted balm albeit a bit steep in the price department for what it is. The Lip Comfort Oil, although unique in its claims, is not much different from a nice lip gloss in my opinion.
