Dior Rouge Dior Lipsticks for Spring 2015: Review and Swatches

Disclaimer: Product featured was provided for review.
Hey everyone, happy Friday, hope you all had a good week! Today I am swatching up some beautiful new Spring 2015 Rouge Dior Lipsticks ($39 CAD). Full coverage with an irresistible sheen, the Rouge Dior Couture Lip Colors Voluptuous Care Lipsticks have a moisturizing and gel-like formulation. Packaging:
The Rouge Diors come in sleek classic black tubes with shiny silver accents and the Christian Dior logo embedded on the cap. The packaging feels luxurious without being super flashy. The tubes have a nice weight to them but they easily catch fingerprints and makeup smudges.
Formulation:
The new Spring 2015 releases features seven new shades, three of which are limited edition. The lipsticks have a very thin, lightweight formulation. Despite being almost gel-like, the colors are super pigmented. There is a variation among the formulation though, with the lighter shades more patchy and more likely to accentuate fine lines while the dark shades look incredibly plumping.

760 Time Square: Pretty neutral rose with no shimmers, this is a gorgeous everyday color that's not too bright but also not too plain.

688 Hollywood (Limited Edition): A cool tone, almost neon pink, this is one heck of a bright lip color. I find this color a little hard to pull off but maybe when summer rolls around.

858 Royal: This is a beautiful dark coral red, one of my favorite shades from the bunch. The formulation of this one feels extra smooth and the color is definitely more forgiving of fine lines and dry patches.

359 Miss: A warm tone baby pink, this shade settles into the fine lines of the lips just a bit. So unless you have naturally pale lips, Miss might be a bit tough to pull off.

310 Paname: A warm beige nude with subtle shimmers, this shade is actually quite flattering. Compared to 359 Miss, Paname doesn't seem to settle in fine lines as much but it's still doesn't look as smooth and plump as the darker shades.

808 Victoire (Limited Edition): A pastel creamy peach, this shade unfortunately is not for me. The color strongly highlights wrinkles and dry patches on the lips and it just feels too 60's mod girl for me.

Below are one swipe arm swatches of all six shades, it really gives you an idea of how pigmented the shades are.
Overall:
This is the first time I've tried the Rouge Diors and the formulation is quite unique. Although amazingly opaque in just one swipe, the colors are not very cushiony so the lighter shades heavily accentuate fine lines and dryness. With that said, if you have pale lips or opt for the darker shades, these colors are quite beautiful with a gorgeous sheen. The wear time is decent depending on the shade. Although transfer proof, the darker colors leave behind a nice tint.

Availability:
The new Rouge Dior Shades are available in stores at the Bay starting March 2015 and available nationwide at all Dior counters starting April 2015.
