Shaped like cute little hearts, these konjac sponges come dehydrated and shriveled. To prepare them for their first use, dip them in water for about three to five minutes until they soften. The red clay sponge is designed for dry skin and the pink clay sponge is designed for sensitive skin. I really can't tell the difference between the two but they both are super gentle on the skin and their texture helps deeply cleanse the skin.
One of my favorite feature of these is that they come with a thin string that allows you to hang them up to dry after each use. The sponges should be replaced every three months if used on a daily basis.
