Packaging:
Although this is a limited edition collection, the packaging is the same as the classic MAC lipstick. The only difference is that the box that the lipstick comes in has the Mia Moretti collection design on it. We all love unique limited edition designs from MAC but it's understandable that with the amount of new collections MAC puts out, not all of them will have special designs.

Formulation:
Described as a cherry red, "Maria Moretti" (named after Mia's grandmother) is an amplified creme lipstick. This shade has pretty much all the things I love about MAC lipsticks. Creamy, rich, and opaque in one swipe, this shade is a medium warm red; there are some micro shimmers in the tube but they are not visible on the lips. The lipstick feels moisturizing and it has a natural sheen. The wear is nice as well.

Overall:
Although not the most unique red, the formulation of this one is a winner. Rich, creamy, and pigmented with the beloved vanilla scent, "Maria Moretti" is definitely worth checking out if you are on a hunt for a warm red.

Availability:
The MAC Mia Moretti Collection is available starting April 2, 2015.
