Urban Decay Sheer Revolution Lipstick in "Slowburn" & "Ladyflower": Review and Swatches
For Spring 2015, Urban Decay has released a sheer version of the popular Revolution Lipsticks. Called the Sheer Revolution Lipsticks ($26 CAD each), these bad boys come in ten different shades and are enriched with shea, jojoba, and olive oil to moisturize and condition the lips. Packaging:
The Sheer Revolution Lipsticks come in identical purple chrome bullets as the original Revolution Lipsticks and they look so cool and chic. The brand's logo is etched on the cap and the lipsticks have a nice weight to them.

Formulation:
Although named Sheer Revolution Lipsticks, the two shades I have here are pretty darn pigmented. They definitely have a translucent and shiny finish but the colors are still very vibrant.
Sheer Slowburn is a hot red with a orange undertone and Sheer Ladyflower is a cool tone mauve-y pink, super natural and easy to wear.
The lipsticks have a very slick and hydrating formulation; the wear is decent but the shine definitely wears off after a couple of hours. Sheer Ladyflower fades a bit quicker compared to Slowburn.

Overall:
I love these! With brighter colors like Slowburn, it's nice to have it slightly sheer for those that aren't into sporting a opaque bright red lipstick. The lipsticks feel super comfortable on the lips and they have a natural plumping sheen.

Availability:
Urban Decay is available in stores and online at Sephora and select Shoppers.
