Disclaimer: Product featured was provided for review.
No Dior collection is complete without some gorgeous 5 Couleur Eyeshadow Palettes ($62 CAD each) and for the Summer 2015 Tie Dye, Dior has released two gorgeous shadow palettes that cater to both the brights lovers and the neutral fans. Additionally, a new shade of the Diorshow Khol Stick ($32 CAD) pencil shadow is also available. To see some swatches and a look I created with the products, click......
Packaging:
The 5 Couleur Eyeshadow Palette comes in a gorgeous black compact with the Dior logo embedded in silver. The palette is divided into five shades with a mini applicator on either side and the shadows are pressed with the classic Dior quilted cannage pattern. Everything about these palettes just feels so luxe!
The Khol Sick, on the other hand, comes in a twist up crayon form. The packaging is simple and practical.

Formulation:
The Diorshow Khol Stick in "Pearly Turquoise" is a gorgeous bright blue shimmer. The cream formulation is intensely pigmented and the finish is a bit tacky so it actually works surprisingly well as a shadow primer. The product lasts nicely but a bit hard to blend out evenly.

The "Coral Sunset" 5 Couleur Eyeshadow Palette features a selection of wearable, neutral browns and pinks. Included in the palette are:
-shimmery pale pink
-sheer satin peach
-golden taupe shimmer
-warm brown with golden sparkles
-satin beige taupe

There are some variations between the shade intensities, but all the shades have a nice and buttery formulation, no chalkiness or dryness. Some of the sheerer shades like the satin beige taupe and the satin peach would benefit from a primer.

The "Contraste Horizon" is definitely your quintessential summer palette. Included in this palette are:
-satin white with a tinge of lavender
-sheer shimmery mossy green
-sheer golden shimmer
-rich deep blue shimmer with green and yellow sparkles
-metallic bronze

The green and gold from this palette are quite sheer but they add great dimensions to other shadows. The blue is really quite a gem, it has a lot of depths and when paired with the Khol Stick, the two create the most gorgeous ocean blue paradise on the lids. The matte lavender is great as an all-over-the-lid and brow highlight.

Overall:
The two 5 Couleur palettes are absolutely gorgeous! I can't get over how pretty the color combinations are and how luxurious the packaging feels. There's a bit of variation in the pigmentation but they all very soft and smooth. The Khol Stick is very pigmented, great when worn alone as a liner or as a shadow base.
