Mereadesso Tinted All-In-One Moisturizer in "Light": Review and Swatches
New for Spring 2015, Mereadesso released a tinted version of its beloved All-In-One Moisturizer. Formulated with aloe, witch hazel witch, grape seed oil, and extracts of cucumber, willow, apple, and soybean, the Tinted All-In-One Moisturizer ($48 CAD) comes in four sheer but buildable shades. So how did the product work, click......

Packaging:
Housed inside a lightweight plastic rectangular bottle, the tinted moisturizer dispenses from a pump dispenser. The bottle has a nice white within clear plastic design that looks sleek and fancy.

Formulation:
Made with 16 botanical extracts, 8 minerals and enzymes and over 20 antioxidants (same as the original All-In-One Moisturizer), the formulation is lightweight. The product comes out a bit chunky but it blends out fine. When I first applied it, the tinted moisturizer felt slightly cooling and comforting, not at all heavy or oily. However, the issue I have with the product is how warm the shade is. I have here the "light" shade and even just straight out of the tube the product is quite yellow. Usually NC 20 from MAC fits me well, but this shade is really quite dark (maybe NC25 or even NC30) and yellow on my skin. For the swatches below, I only applied very lightly around my jaw and cheek and kind of stopped with my forehead area because it was just simply not my shade.

Left: Bare skin; Right:Lightly applied around the jaw and lower cheeks
you can see how the "Light" shade is a bit too dark and warm, almost orange-ish
Overall:
I love the formulation of this. It's lightweight, moisturizing but not greasy or heavy. However, the "Light" shade is way too dark and warm. I have neutral skin tone (I use NC 20) so I cannot imagine this working for those with cool-toned fair skin at all. The coverage is fairly sheer but buildable but I hope Mereadesso can come out with more shade variations as the Light shade will only work well for those with very warm light-medium skintone.
