Smashbox Fusion Soft Lights in Baked StarBlush: Review and Swatches
Who doesn't like a good highlighter? For Summer 2015, Smashbox has released a new multi-hued highlight powder that adds a soft focus radiance to the skin. The Fusion Soft Lights ($36 CAD) highlighter features a baked formulation and is available in a cool mix of pinks called "Baked Starblush" and a warm fusion of bronze and golden peaches called "Baked Starbust". Packaging:
The Fusion Soft Lights comes in a sleek plastic compact with a clear twist off lid. I wish this had a normal hinged lid because those are much easier to handle. The powder is divided into ten sections, five different shades.

Formulation:
Baked Starblush comes with a pale iridescent pink, a baby pink, a mauve, a brownish pink, and a soft plum. The colors swirl together into a pale pink shimmer. The formulation is quite fine, the shimmers are very dense but the effect it gives is subtle and natural. The individual colors can't really be used together as each sliver is quite small so I think swirling all the colors together is the way to go.

Overall:
This is a gorgeous highlight. Pigmented, shimmery but natural, Baked Starblush is great for those with a cooler skin undertone. The twist-off lid is a bit inconvenient, especially if you are in a hurry but other than that this is a beautiful product!

Availability:
Smashbox is available online at Sephora, Smashbox.com and in stores at Shoppers Drug Mart, Murale.
